The Simulator was supplied by Kongsberg Norcontrol Systems a.s. of Norway. Norcontrol is a leading supplier of Maritime Simulators worldwide. It incorporates years of extensive development in hydrodynamics, modelling and real time simulation.
The Simulator utilises the latest maritime educational methodology to provide comprehensive features, expressly designed to fulfil the requirements of STCW95 and certified by IMO. It meets the training requirements of a quality conscious maritime industry. It is designed to train all aspects of navigation, ship handling, collision avoidance, radar plotting, etc. The flexibility of the system also allows for a variety of research applications.
